Development Environment

Ameba SDK supports two types of development environment: CLI (Command-Line Interface) and VS Code IDE.

CLI Development Environment

Users need to setup the CLI environment before the development.

You can build and configure the SDK by running scripts in the terminal. For the development process, please refer to the following sections:

VS Code IDE

Realtek provides Ameba extension for the development of Realtek Ameba series of chips.

After installing the extension, it will check the environment and automatically setup. You can develop through the buttons in the VS Code interface. For the development process, please refer to the following sections:
