SDK and Resources
The Ameba IoT SoC series offers comprehensive SDK and online documentation support, covering FreeRTOS, Linux, HiFi DSP, Zephyr, Arduino, and other platforms.
Supporting the full range of Ameba SoCs, the Ameba FreeRTOS SDK features fully featured stacks for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Audio, AI, and USB. Powered by the efficient CMake/Ninja build system, it delivers a complete, one-stop IoT solution for developers.
Targeting high-performance Ameba SoCs, the Ameba Linux SDK is based on Linux kernel 5.x/6.x. It features comprehensive drivers and application frameworks for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Audio, AI, USB, and etc. Powered by efficient Yocto/Buildroot compilation systems, it delivers a high-performance IoT solution for developers.
Leveraging the extensive stacks and middleware of the Zephyr ecosystem, the Zephyr SDK now supports Ameba mainline chips like the RTL8721F and RTL8721Dx. We plan to steadily expand this support, aiming for full Zephyr ecosystem coverage across the entire Ameba portfolio.
Tailored for the Cadence HiFi5 audio/voice DSP in the Ameba SoC DSP series, the Ameba DSP SDK specializes in algorithmic computation. It manages compute-intensive workloads—including AI, audio processing, and sensor fusion—to maximize the capabilities of hardware acceleration.
Arduino® is an open-source hardware and software platform designed to simplify interactive electronics development. Leveraging the Ameba Arduino SDK, users can effortlessly create IoT applications for diverse use cases.
